PFP (Profile Picture) or Avatar projects are the most popular type of project to date. CryptoPunks was the first NFT project in this category (launched in 2017). BAYC is currently the most expensive PFP project to date.

1/1 artworks are rare pieces released sporadically. Each NFT is individually designed and created by the artist. These pieces are not one in a series, but rather stand-alone pieces that are unique.

Generative Art is a process of algorithmically generating new ideas, forms, shapes, colors or patterns. First, you create rules that provide boundaries for the creation process. Then a computer follows those rules to produce new works on your behalf.
